Live DNS checks for sending domains

Check a sending domain's DKIM, MAIL FROM and DMARC records against live DNS from the dashboard, and see when a record that passed has stopped passing.

  • Open a domain on the Sending Domains page to resolve its DKIM CNAMEs, MAIL FROM MX and SPF, and DMARC record live, instead of reading the verification status SES caches
  • A record that passed on an earlier check and fails now raises a drift alert on the domain, so an edit in your DNS provider shows up in Wraps
  • DMARC is checked as well. SES does not check it at all
  • The check runs when you open the domain. A lookup that fails or times out reads as unknown, and it never raises or clears an alert on its own
